    Biography of Hozier

    Andrew Hozier-Byrne, known by his stage name Hozier, is an Irish musician who gained recognition for his work with various groups such as Anúna, Trinity Orchestra, Zaska, and Nova Collective.

    Born on March 17, , in Bray, County Wicklow, Hozier developed an interest in music from a young age. He sang in a choir and frequently performed in school shows, which eventually caught the attention of professional groups.

    At the advice of his music-loving parents, Hozier enrolled at Trinity College Dublin.

    However, he spent less than one semester there as he couldn't focus on his studies when opportunities for work in the music industry arose. Soon after being expelled, Hozier began recording with Niall Breslin, a popular Irish pop-rock musician, at Universal Ireland Studios.

    Around the same time, Hozier joined Trinity Orchestra, an ensemble comprised of students from his former college.
