Albert Claude was a Belgian-American scientist and biochemist, best known for his groundbreaking research in cell biology.
He was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 1974 for his discoveries related to the structural and functional organization of cells.
Early Life and Education
Albert Claude was born in a small village in the Belgian Ardennes with a population of around 800 people, mostly farmers.
