Welcome to my website. I'm Terry Deary ®, professional actor, singer and writer for stage, television, movies and radio.

I am the writer of 351 books - fiction and non-fiction for children and adults - published in the past 47 years, selling over 38+ million copies in 45 languages.

My future publications will be fiction and non-fiction for adults while also writing stage scripts for family audiences.

My best-selling children's book titles are the "Horrible Histories" series, published in 1993 - 2025.

From 2024 I'll be writing adult fiction and non-fiction books for a new audience starting with 'A History of Britain in Ten Enemies' published 10 October 2024 by Transworld.

This title went straight into the Sunday Times best-seller lists for adult non-fiction hardbacks and became the top selling history book of the month.
